The Novello project is located in the Saint-Léonard borough, in the heart of the Italian community of Montreal. In the neighborhood, rue Jean-Talon represents an important commercial axis. This is a mixed-use artery; local shops, supermarkets, housing. The street is characterized by a heterogeneous urban fabric and building sizes ranging from 2 to 10 floors. When the project started, the district authorities expressed their desire to structure and revitalize this important street.
